There's building credibility on your resume through brand name, and then there is getting good experience. The two are not always linked. Find a shop where you'll really be able to learn and be active in your day-to-day. Ultimately knowing real estate and the processes is more important than the name of the company. That being said, getting a brand name can help, it definitely helped me at points in my career. But it only opened the door, you still gotta know what you're talking about. If you spend two years doing menial BS at Blackstone, that isn't going to help you much in an interview for your next position. If you spend two years at a no-name actively underwriting, touring properties, speaking with management about their investment theses, talking to brokers and bankers, learning about your marketplace, you might find it harder to land an interview (might is the operative word, not everyone is enamored by the big names) but when you're in the room you'll actually be able to talk about something.
