I'm currently looking at MBA programs that could help to make a career transition into real estate private equity. What MBA programs are the best for moving into REPE on the East Coast? Currently seeing Wharton, Columbia, NYU, Kellogg, and UNC but wanted to see if there are additional ones worth looking at.

For East Coast.... Cornell deserves a mention (big RE alum base), so does MIT, BU, Georgetown, Johns Hopkins
"Best for REPE" is literally the same list as whatever ranking people use for MBA programs in general. The better the school, the better your shot.
Outside of the top programs, the best programs in the region you want to work are the next best choice.
UCLA and USC are good for West Coast (and obviously Stanford), but USC has a large RE presence, greater than their ranking would imply. A lot of comes from their undergrad I think, but it's still a really solid network base.
