Applying through LinkedIn tbh
Got interviews at a few REPE firms and a few brokerages that way without networking.
It helped to apply within a day or two of posting so check every day. I usually typed in real estate analyst and it would pick up everything entry level in commercial real estate.
Did you filter by specific firms? Lately it’s been hit or miss for me when it comes to finding jobs on LinkedIn.
I did not but I’m in a major city. There were only a handful of legit new job postings a week when I searched “real estate analyst”. I say legit because residential mortgage and some other worthless jobs would be lumped in as well
Do you know what part of CRE you’re interested in? If brokerage, you would have better luck going to JLL, CBRE, WD, Berkadia, etc. websites to check for openings every day
Go hard on the LinkedIn easy apply!
Have been blasting these out actually got a MF REPE response
Been trying for some months now to get into brokerage and I have gotten denied on all of my apps. I feel like I might be a peon for the rest of my life at this point tbh.
