Best resources to source borrowers (pending maturities/refinancing, new acquisition financing, etc)?
I realize that a large chunk of leads will come from the brokerage world, as many borrowers prefer to have a "process" run through a debt advisor/broker.
In terms of getting in front of opportunities, I know that sources like Trepp can help provide insight into what's coming due, etc. Last I checked, the annual rate for national service was around $33k (not cheap). That said, if I needed to come up with resources that are worth the $$$ to spend on, what would those top choices be? And maybe Trepp is ultimately considered one of the premier resources, but are there others that provide same data, cheaper, more robust etc?
