Best ways of connecting with HNW LPs?
So my firm is a bit smaller. We been using friends and family equity for awhile, but now been tasked with getting outside HNW LPs into deals as capital from our current sources is drying up.
One of the ideas I had was to advertise with state medical associations. The advertising costs run about $25k-$30k a year, but would also allow us to advertise with a booth and on their publications. One of the states I am looking at has like 7k members from all medical professions. I am not sure what our target hit rate would be, but if we're able to get even .5% (35 people) to come in on a deal, it may be worth considering. Maybe our hit rate would be lower, I am not sure here.
I am new to the marketing/investor relations side of this, but wanted to see if anyone has experience here.
