High level topic: Brookfield Real Estate Acquisitions Team NYC
I'm curious about the organizational structure of brookfield's real estate acquisitions group. For example, i know that BX has one large RE acquisitions team and employees are staffed on deals on a need basis, but basically as a younger team member you are not assigned an asset class. Anyone have any insight into if this is similar at Brookfield? Have seen on linkedin that employees describe themselves as "[insert asset class] acquisitions". Curious if there are multiple acquisitions teams divided by asset class that all hire individually or if they hire from the broader acquisitions team and then let the employee decide what to specialize in
