Hi, anyone have insight into what analysts/associates make at CBRE IM? For both AM and Acq. Looking at them as a potential lateral move, but have very little insight outside of some networking. Culture/hours seem good but heard nothing on comp. I know in some ways they operate like a REPE shop but with some differences.

Depends on which part of REI you're looking to move.
There is the direct real estate - relatively easy hours, get lot of exposure (sourcing your deals, setting business plans, engaging with brokers), not tied to individual funds (loads of opportunities to work on different mandates), but i would say below market pay (currently in the Direct RE but in London)
Indirect Real Estate - more PE shop hours, pay much higher than direct side, less opportunities to move up the ladder, very portfolio specific (some with lot of activity, other with none)
