CentreCourt Developments (Canada)

Does anyone have any insight into CentreCourt developments? They’re a Toronto based developer and, from what I’ve heard, are the top dev shop in the city. Does anyone have any insights into culture, compensation, deal flow, work life balance etc. It looks like they generally hire ex investment bankers, lawyers or MBA’s which seems different than a lot of other development shops in the city.

Thanks

I dunno about top dev shop in the city - we have Dream, Great Gulf, Daniels, Menkes, Tridel, not to mention the multinational guys and pension funds (Brookfield, Hines, Cadillac Fairview, Oxford, etc.). I would argue all of them are doing bigger projects and more volume than CentreCourt.

CentreCourt has grown tremendously in recent years though and are definitely among the big boys now. Unfortunately can't speak to culture/WLB/etc, but they hire talent from a huge variety of backgrounds (as you said, finance, lawyers, MBAs, as well as the more traditional engineers and urban planners) which to me indicates an openness from management to just hiring smart people which is always a good sign.
