Which geography? I interviewed with their European team in London and really enjoyed the team but it was by far the hardest interview I’ve had for an An1/2 role. Consisted of interviews with VP, Associate, MD then a take-home modelling exam with an IC paper (given the weekend to do). Then a review of your paper and underwrite and then a final interview with whoever they want (didn’t make it this far). They did the standard RE questions to test knowledge and then started doing boe calcs for a deal and asked for CoC, EM and IRR. Then changed variables and repeated the question. Failed on IC paper for admittedly my own mistakes trying to do it in one night. Really wish I had got that job. Might have the model somewhere…

As someone said above, it did feel old school. In Europe they also are deploying a lot because they are reaching the end of their fund without having deployed it all (or at least that’s the gossip). They might actually do well as first-mover advantage but their underwrites have been punchy compared to mine.
Great firm with a great reputation, can’t speak to being a senior but analyst and associate years would be well spent there. I was quoted standard analyst pay in UK but I remember a rumour their US team doesn’t pay that high in the beginning but could be wrong!!
