Commercial Loan Indexes
What index are commercial real estate loans typically based on?
What makes a loan tied to LIBOR, the treasury (typically 10 year?) Prime, FHLB? Any particular reasons?
Do indexes depend on the bank you’re lending from? Which do you think is the most attractive form of financing and what do you or your mortgage broker negotiate for when looking to shop a loan?
Any rates that you are particularly seeing in the market today?
Note: There's a lot of talk about LIBOR getting replaced.
But as @thhddd" said, LIBOR and yield curves for now
