Commission?
I’m currently at a National brokerage as an entry level analyst where the pay is broken down into base, bonus, and commission sharing.
Base and bonus paid by firm, commission by broker. I know this year has been extremely turbulent, however my team has still closed a handful of deals totaling well over $100M at around 0.75-1.00% origination fee.
Analysts are supposed to earn 1% of total commission each however I haven’t received anything yet. It’s supposed to be paid out quarterly as well but perhaps the brokers are waiting until EOY? Just want to make sure I get paid as the pipeline is ramping up and it will likely end up being $5,000-$10,000 by the end of the year.
