Corprate Finance groups in CRE

Hi all, I'm just looking for some information on what corporate finance groups at places like JLL/CW/CBRE etc. are like. I'm having a hard time understanding what these sort of groups actually do, and how reputable it is. Can anyone help me out on this point? What is the work like? How are the exit opps?

Additionally, how are these groups in comparison to investment sales at these firms? What is a better group to be in for the long run?

Thanks for any replies.
