CRE Brokers - how long before you got your first check?
For the CRE Brokers here - how long did it take for you to get your first check (commission not "draw")? Wondering what the timeline is usually like for those just starting in the field.
First CRE commission check was 4 months in
When I was a leasing tenant rep. It took me a little under 1 year. It was the only check I received and it was for $2,500. The caveat to that is I already left so my old boss was nice to give me $5,000 before splits with the brokerage and him. However, that commission was ~$100,000.
