Creating Recent Grads Networking Group

Hey guys,

I'm a recent grad around 2 years out working in NYC. I was thinking about starting an informal networking group with maybe up to 10 guys and we'd grab drinks once a month during the week to catch up/learn about different areas in the industry/meet more people.

So far I have two people that would do it. I'm also apart of the established organizations, but I think this would be better/be a more informal relaxed environment over time.

I was also thinking about reaching out to two more established people in their late 30's a successful developers. I wanted to let them know I was doing this and to feel free to pass it on to younger guys at their firms/that they knew that would be interested. Thoughts on this?

Also any advice from people who have done this before? It seems the people I've talked to it's more good group of friends or they stick to the established orgs. Thoughts on this? Idea is to get maybe 10 guys/girls and grab drinks, learn, and network.

Will let you both know. Was hoping more people on here had experience with this.

Tried to do these, but don't think too many people went pre covid. I could be wrong.
