Data Center Analyst/Associate Opportunities?
I know it's a choppy job market out there, but has anyone seen or heard of any analyst/associate positions for data center acquisitions or development? I have scoured job boards, LinkedIn, and company websites constantly over the last 6 months but have not seen anything.
For context, I work for a west coast developer who has a data center arm. I have data center underwriting experience (which seems rare for someone at the analyst/associate level) and am trying to move to a shop where I would solely focus on data centers, rather than being a generalist (spend 70% of my time on industrial/MF, 30% on DC).
Any insight on this would be much appreciated - it feels as though these positions don't even exist.
Check out STACK Infrastructure. I know they are expanding quite a bit.
As expected, a lot of open positions in ops but nothing on the investment side. Consistent with other hyperscale developers.
QTS is hiring if you dare to live in Atlanta. Be warned, the pay is bad and the culture is more exciting than watching paint dry.
I would also look at the big tech companies (amazon, google, microsoft), they are expanding in data centers like crazy and have seen roles open up there. Will probably make double as much money. Could be a great opportunity to get in a cushy tech job and push data
