Data Centres Anyone?
Hey, CRE intern here with some brokerage and office acquisitions experience.
I've been looking into REITs that buy data centres recently and became curious as to what technology or infra knowledge one would need to know their stuff on data centres. Can anyone shed some light on what it's like to work in data centre acquisitions/development?
Also curious about how data centre deals are sourced, how much the underwriting differs to other commercial asset classes, and whether a career in development is more lucrative vs acquisitions since the world has ever increasing demand for more data storage.
