All I know is Sandra and Kristin keep sending us deals for financing and we throw our hat in the ring but are never able to win deals. Looks like they collect many bids, while it is great for them, it is frustrating for lenders. But they have good assets and are very active. And I like their OM-s no bullshit and fluff and straight to the point.
New acquisitions or refi situations? Seems like they're big enough they just go direct to their relationships..
Both. I have sized several of their deals in the last few months, really high quality real estate. But, I just think they send out OM's to lenders who have closed deals with them and state all offers due by "certain date". Off late we just dont seem to win anything.
Hearing of a lot of acquisition action for many of their funds. Lots of dry powder to be applied as they’re picking up sovereign funds as investors now as well as major wirehouses for the public REIT.
Rebranding from RREEF to Deutsche A/W Management and now just called DWS across all AM/Alternative lines.
Something like $60B AUM as of Y/E 2017 but still growing and battling for investors alongside Blackstone/Invesco/etc
What do you mean by wirehouses for public REITs?
I believe they are the biggest public REIT securities investor in the world. On the private real estate side, they are outperforming most of their ODCE peers both their core fund and separate accounts.
