Dress conservative, clean, buy clothes that are in your price range and be a simple hardworking person. All this extra fashion stuff is irrelevant.

In my opinion, the price tag does not matter. What you do need is to look professional and presentable. Others may be obsessed with materialistic items and flashy products but I would much rather use my money in ways that would increase my wealth.

Warren Buffet once said :"I buy expensive suits, they just look cheap on me."  The billionaire lives a very frugal lifestyle and doesn’t dress, act or look like the rich man he is.

I always was suspicious of Warren Buffet's "cheap" persona. If he's so cheap, why did he work so hard to become worth billions? And why does he still have all these billions if he doesnt care about money? I have nothing against people getting vastly wealthy, but I feel like "cheap" persona is a facade so that the public doesnt get pissed at him for being rich

Very few people can actually distinguish between good clothes and expensive ones. Especially if it is a 100% cotton shirt.
It is a bit easier to spot on shoes (cheap shoes can be recognized), or coats.

As a more junior colleague though, nobody would care or expect you to spend a lot. Take care of a good fit, corporate color combination (if that even exists), and that you can combine as many items as possible.
