If the firm you works for has those firms as clients, you should talk directly to people who work there (on personal, off the record basis). That is your most obvious best bet.
If you are willing to work in the compliance/legal/IR depts of these firms, then a direct switch shouldn't be that hard. If you are trying to go in the "front door" for acq/AM type roles, will be more difficult, but again, you can network directly.
