I haven't used the book by Linneman, but I can tell you Berkeley undergrad and a few other top schools with real estate courses use the Brueggeman textbook. I actually wish I kept mine and didn't sell it back at the end of the semester!
Just purchased Linneman's book yesterday. Based my decision solely on the table of contents. Dont think you can go wrong- Will let you know what I think when it comes.
Highly recommend Linneman. But have heard good things about Brueggeman. Read both, man!
