Do acquisition hiring managers value previous acq. experience over I/S??
Title says it all. Considering my next move. Currently in acquisitions in a role that will end after a year. My goal is to work in institutional real estate acquisitions, but I want to try a stint in RE capital markets while I'm still young. I want to get more 'reps' in so I figure capital markets I/S would be an efficient way to do that.
Is there known difficulty going from I/S to acq vs staying in acquisitions and moving firms?
