Do I have a chance to enter a top REPE firm?

I am at a Non-Target but I’m a diversity candidate. Currently a Sophomore w/ a couple past Real Estate internships and an Argus Certification. This Summer I’m interning at a reputable top 30 REPE firm. Do I compete with target schools for the top REPE firms for junior year recruiting? How much does not going to a target hurt me? I know my chances depend on many more factors than what I stated above but with that information how much does not going to a target hurt me and do I even have a chance?

You can get whatever job you aim for. Don't fall into this target non-target BS. Real estate isn't totally like traditional finance. Sure, school helps open doors, but it isn't the be all end all. Do well this summer, you may want to keep going back. Top 30 - top 50 - top 5, honestly its all the same. You're doing just fine if you're joining a top 30 REPE firm.

Actually, OP should have a shot at BX as they have a very organized diversity pipeline. I would network and apply for BX’s diversity programs and see what happens. I know diversity candidates from non-targets who have gotten BX with fewer credentials than OP. Good luck OP.

Umm... I don't know can you?

Seriously, you already have an internship as a sophomore and you're asking if you have a "chance" for one as a junior!?!?!
