Does anyone know of resources that teach you how to make a real estate development excel model for a technical interview?

I understand the basics of how to do this already, but there are some parts of these that I am not completely familiar with, so I was looking for some excel models that I could use as a reference. I already know of A.CRE (adventures in commercial real estate), but I think his models can be a bit overly complicated sometimes. I have also heard of get REFM but you have to pay hundreds of dollars just for the solution and that's not reasonable to me. Are there any other free resources out there?

Thanks for any help

That's probably true, but it still would probably be helpful to have a more straightforward model to use as a reference. Plus I have a bit of trouble understanding everything in his models. Do you know if there is any kind of database of free excel tests/sample questions? Or has anyone shared their own solutions to these kinds of questions?

I did try searching but all I found in the way of free resources was ACRE. Maybe I am just not searching the right stuff. I searched "real estate model" and "private equity sample" and other variants. Is there anything in particular that you have in mind that would be helpful?

What book are you referring to?

Edit: Never mind I didn't see what comment you were replying to. Yeah I actually managed to find that book on libge
