Entry Level Analyst Gig

What are some tips to landing an entry level real estate analyst role? Recently graduated with a BS in finance with a 3.4 GPA in December and had an internship as a development intern for a very owned shop that specialized in small residential and mixed use developments that was cut a bit short due to Covid.

I am currently working as a fund accountant for a local government agency doing grant accounting, some financial reporting and payroll. while I do make a solid salary and work less then 35 hours a week when you factor in lunch breaks, the field has Never interested me. I’ve sent in multiple apps via LinkedIn and I don’t hear back. At this point I’m even willing to take a paid internship to get some experience.

just looking for some advice on what I can do to sort of stand out. For reference I am in the NJ area and would gladly commute to NYC.

Lobbing in applications on LinkedIn will have a very low hit rate. I know it's been said a million times on this site but networking is really the best way to land a good job. Message people in the industry on LinkedIn and ask them to get coffee. Tell them what you're trying to do and ask if there's anyone else they think you should talk to. Typically people are happy to connect you with other people at the very least.
