I’m sure it depends each individual agreement, but generally, does LP equity fund a project after GP equity is funded, or do they fund together?
My thought we be that if LP equity funds before the Senior debt, the LP would be able to achieve a higher IRR since (ideal) their money would be 2nd in, first out (in a European waterfall structure).
