Europe -> US
As the title says, how much of a pipe dream is this? Seems like a Global REIT or REITs in general would be the easiest ways to move to the other side of the pond.

Career Resources
Any firm that is based in Europe with US offices is probably the "easiest" as they can send you to the US on a special visa for "ex-pats". Getting a US work visa is probably as difficult as anything, and that path is a lot easier than finding a US firm to sponsor you. Second easiest would be a US based firm with European offices, here you could go for a transfer and the firm would probably do the visa sponsorship. Don't think it matters if REIT or whatever, more about where/what kind of offices and operations.
Also, keep in mind, roles/skills that more easily transferrable (like capital markets type stuff as one example) make it easier as well (as opposed to doing acquisitions or AM which tends to be more market/asset focused).
