EY Real Estate Consulting - Hospitality

Anyone have any knowledge on exits from this group at ey? Would taking a spot here get you kind of stuck in hotel real estate post the ey role or do people switch product type. Would want to go to principal investing post ey spot ideally more property type agnostic type role.

I have a friend who is now a CFO for a significant development company who started their career on a RE consulting hospitality focus team at one of the big 4. I think they went to the asset mngt side of an owner/developer before getting the CFO spot at a competitor firm.

Just a data point, but I think 'jumping' from one of those shops to a principal firm is doable, you get to network with them as part of your daily job.

The head of PWCs real estate consulting group used to be a CEO of a small REIT, so I guess it goes both ways.
