Fall 2022 Opportunities

Hi, I am currently a rising junior in NYC who has decided against going against a SWE route and into CRE. I have been doing some self studying like the REFM 1, 2, and 3 course and ideally, I want to get into an acquisitions role in the future after talking to people in the industry. I heard that sell-side is much easier to break into and was wondering if anyone knew of any opportunities for the Fall. What should I be doing right now as my summer internship has nothing to do with CRE and am stressed as I have no relevant experience in the field. Should I practice underwriting properties from crexi and loopnet and show my interest in this way? Thank you!
