Financial Derivatives Hedging
Some of you may be familiar with the concept of buying an interest rate cap or futures contract as a hedge against interest rate expansion on a floating rate loan. Is there any kind of analogous product for insurance? Builders risk/OCIP/operating property insurance costs are escalating like crazy, wondering if anyone has a strategy to try an offset some of that risk.
