Fordham RE certificates (BVAL -> RE)

I'm considering on signing up for the 6 week summer certificate program for either RE finance and investments or RE development at Fordham to transition into the real estate industry. What are people's thoughts given this program is quite new?

Some background about me: 2.5 years in a business valuation group mainly focusing on valuing debt and equity investments in PE funds, assist a small RE developer on the side in sourcing deals, modeling, and small odds and ends, 3 parts of CPA passed (will sit for last part in next 2 weeks). Based in NYC.

I've been applying for analyst level positions but through the stats on Linkedin Premium, there are a ton of applicants and from getting feedback through an internal referral, there are plenty of qualified folks to choose from. Open to any advice anyone may have. Thanks in advance!
