Full Time Opportunities in London after MS in Real Estate Finance

Hi, I am an international student starting MS in Real Estate Finance in London. I have prior experience in Tech Consulting at one of the Big 4.

What type of CRE role is the best way to start after completing the Master's, considering I want to land a REPE acquisitions role? Given I have no real estate experience, will it be tough to land a role in CRE?

Please suggest how should I proceed and what roles should I target.

Thank you.

Imho, I'd suggest going the internship -> FT route or the internship -> internship -> FT rather than straight to FT. Doing an internship in RE would allow you to get better looks from REPE funds looking for junior hires. If you're targeting REPE in the long run, I would suggest avoiding CBRE/JLL etc; you're much better off starting at an IB in their RE team in terms of exits

Thank you for the reply.
What are your thoughts on Capital Markets Graduate schemes at CBRE etc for exit ops?

And can you suggest any roles or groups that I should look into in IBs?

Thanks for your help
