Going from Corp AM into RE? Tips please!

Hi All,

Been covering REITs on the fixed income asset management side for about 1.5yrs now and am trying to transition into RE on the acquisitions side. Company rep isn't amazing but well-known as one of the big real money players in the UK. Anyone got any tips on how I should try to break-in? Would reapplying for an entry role at banks/ try for an MBA be a better route.

Have signed up to the Adventures in CRE course to help with my modelling skills but is there anything else that you would recommend to improve my knowledge? (Book recommendations would also help)

(Background wise - nothing special, semi-target, corp finance boutique internship and been doing corp credit for about 2.5yrs now)

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!
