After lurking on this forum quite a bit, looking to add some value to other posters.
My fund specializes in platform investments with young operating companies that need start up capital for pursuit costs, overhead expenses, and GP equity commitments. We are currently looking for a build-to-rent partner, but are open to all asset strategies / markets across the US. In certain select situations with more mature operating companies, we have invested in the equity of the operating company along with typical deal by deal real estate investments.
Further, if you've ever had a desire to start your own company and have a solid track record, my firm has helped experienced real estate professionals leave their current organization to pursue their own deals.
