Greystar is an exit opp. It’s one of the biggest names in real estate and arguably the biggest name in apartments.

If you do a development internship at Greystar and want to recruit into more of a real estate private equity acquisitions roll, your story is just that you tried out the whole development thing but you believe your interests and skillsets lie elsewhere.

Greystar on your resume will not hold you back.

Personally I'd stop worrying about an exit op and do your best to absolutely crush your internship.... greystar is the exit opp. The job market is beyond brutal - you don't want to be stuck recruiting.
