Have I been ghosted?

I applied for a job at top 200 REPE firm. One of the execs (not HR) reached out to schedule an interview with me. 30 min Zoom session. Then was passed on to another exec for another 30 min Zoom. This happened in the span of a work week. 1 week later was invited up to their HQ to meet them in person and the team. Met with 6 team members individually + HR over 3 hours there. This was around Christmas. I was supposed to move on to another round of interviews with others in the company but the holidays/travel got in the way. I last communicated with them shortly after New Year's to check in on next steps. They said they'd get back to me in a week. It's now been almost 2 weeks with no follow-up from them and the Linkedin job post is still up.

They seemed pretty hot on me and it felt like they wanted me to start immediately. I don't think I gave off any red flags during my interview - like I mentioned, they said they'd wanted me to have another round of interviews. How likely is it they found a better candidate in that timeframe? Are they just not moving forward with me? When should I reach out? It's been almost 2 weeks now.

I'd follow up and it's only seen being proactive or annoying. If annoyed, then you don't want to work for them. Not only are the holidays happening, but it's conference season right now and free agent season. Lots of brokers and sales teams are shopping themselves around. Bosses will focus on rainmakers first, then general roles within the company. Capital One in Healthcare CRE lending would take 10 days between contact; every time I thought I had been ghosted, I got a follow-up email. This was during the summer, not even the holiday season.

I have the same thing going on but for a REIB position. I received a verbal offer before xmas. When I followed up post new year they simply stated that things are moving slow due to other factors (busy af I guess), so it may be a while before the written offer is delivered. I'm trying not to overthink it, but I'm in the same boat. I can related to feeling anxious. Good luck.
