How do I share with a partner that I would be willing to work for them?

I have a good working relationship with a few of our partners, and would have an interest in working for them, if they would have me.

What is the appropriate way to broach the subject with them? I of course don’t want to look foolish if they don’t have the same opinion of me that I do of them.
