How much $ do I ask for?

Hi all, I’ve got a question here regarding how much $ to ask for but I legit have no clue what’s reasonable.

For context, I started working with a small debt fund about 8 months ago. Since beginning, my job responsibilities have basically tripled due to some turnover so I’m doing a mix of originations, UW, IR and some AM/Special Assets work.

I’ve started to originate some of my own deals for the firm and we’ve got a closing coming up that I sourced myself. Currently, I am only an Analyst so my pay is just base + bonus (on the low end for both). My boss told me I will be getting a raise in January but I’m not sure how much it will be for… also - he mentioned potential deal incentives but we didn’t go in depth on the subject.

I’ve spoken with our head of underwriting and lead originator and they both agree that I should start getting paid deal tips, but I have no clue what to ask for.

What is the industry norm here at the analyst level? 1% of the origination fee, something else? I genuinely don’t have a clue and would like some context before negotiating further at the end of January. TIA.
