How to describe my company?

I recently started a summer internship at a small, private real estate investment company and I was wondering if there is a better/more accurate way to describe the company.

Its business is focused on working as a "broker" for investors who act as a client in commercial real estate investments but need help with equity financing and rely on my company to locate and connect them with a joint venture to provide the needed equity to finance the deal.

The company was listed as a investment/merchant bank but was wondering if there was a better way to phrase it.

Also- if anyone has a good website/forum/podcast they'd recommend about CRE and learning more about the industry I'd appreciate it.

If you're asking for purposes of what to put on your resume, go with equity capital markets analyst.

It sounds like y'all are capital markets intermediaries, like an HFF or Eastdil, with a much narrower focus/capability.

I come from down in the valley, where mister when you're young, they bring you up to do like your daddy done
