How to get my 1st job during UNI ?

Hello,

I'll start my university in October in a country outside of the US.

Would like to start work in the field of real estate with a dream of one day working in Blackstone in NYC (I have a green card).
Which type of job should I aim for (for during the semester)? We don't have a lot of job opportunities for students (part time / internship) here and I'll probably need to go hard on the networking - so should I aim for small REPE / Development company / brokerage / .....

Any advice, tips, remarks will be much appreciated.

Regards.
