If you later decide to get a MBA, you could probably test or get out of MBA accounting core class. You’ll be able to take a more interesting class.

Other than a basic knowledge of accounting, one thing I wish I paid more attention to was business law, with the amount of leases, estoppels, definitions, credit agreements, etc., you end up reading, it'd help to gain a little familiarity in the theory component from a professor. A lot of it is super nuanced, but the general concepts hold across asset classes.
