IB REGL Group vs REPE interview

Curious for those who have gone through the standard interview process for both the REGL group within IB and also just a traditional REPE interview for acquisitions, PM, or any other group, how they compare. Is there a lot of overlap between the two, or would you need to really grind out the banking question guide to be well equipped for the typical REGL interview questions? Thanks in advance!
