Is it possible to transfer internally at big brokerage shops like CBRE/JLL, to different cities as an analyst/associate?
Additionally, if trying to find a role in dev/REPE, is it difficult to gain traction if you are a capital markets analyst at a brokerage shop in a different city?

Depends. I am at one of the brokerages you named and have seen a good amount of analysts switch roles and teams to different cities. I think it comes down to culture and network.
