Internship Search Struggles

Hi all, I’m a junior at UMich majoring in econ, and I’m feeling lost in my internship search. I interviewed for Wells Fargo’s CRE REB internship and haven’t heard back yet, but haven’t had much luck elsewhere despite having solid experience in real estate development and acquisitions last summer.

Does anyone have advice for standing out or finding opportunities? Or types of things to look into? Different areas within re to look at? Would really appreciate any help.
