Investment Sales / Brokerage Analyst Question
Hey WSO,
Long time lurker around these forums. I've been on an investment sales team in a major market (NY/SF/LA) for over a year and was wondering what exit opportunities or steps I can take in the next few months? I'm finishing up my 1st year as an investment sales analyst on a very high deal flow team. I've assisted in underwriting over $1.5 Billion in multifamily sales throughout the past year and created over 200 OMs / proposals. The team I work for has completed over $3B in investment sales over the past 2 years and I've assisted with the whole process on over 150 properties ranging from $2.5M sales - $50M+ sales. Is this something I should put on my resume? and is this typical for a 1st year analyst?
Yes, REPE/Development. Just understand the deal in and out and from the buyer's perspective.
I'm currently in IS right now too. Did you make the jump from IS to REPE / Dev? Could you tell me about some of your experiences?
