is a MF portfolio company or MM IB better pipeline for RE MF

Hi I have offers from a MF portfolio company in an acquisitions role for real estate (they source deals for specific asset class and use the MF's balance sheet), as well as a MM IB role. Which is better to recruit for MFs in the future for real estate acquisitions?

Decent MM IB name/team? Take that. Then you have the optionality of staying in IB (there or lateraling to a BB with RE focus) while the RE recruiting option remains available in the future. Worth checking linkedin but imagine that a number of solid RE analyst/associate postings mention IBD experience. And RE work for a port co may not get you looks for IBD junior roles.
