IS Analyst - Exit Opps

Hey everyone, so i've recently accepted an offer at a big name CRE shop (think NorthMarq, Berkadia, Greystone, etc.) in the midwest. It's an analyst position to help support the IS team in the firm. I wanted to ask you all what are some attainable exit opps after I spend a few years at this firm. Would LMM/MM REPE be a possibility? MF REPE? Thanks.

Smaller REPE shops absolutely, happens all the time.  MF REPE still a possibility but more challenging as they tend to have more structured recruiting from MBA/IB programs (but honestly there are lots of benefits to just going to a smaller shop anyway).  If you look at any of the REPE shops you're interested in on linkedin you'll likely see people who came from IS.
