Is Glassdoor accurate for CRE salary transparency?
May be a dumb question but when scanning around at various firms (sell or buy side) and at all levels.. comp seems lower than expected a lot of the time. Do people not include their total comp (potential bonus, stock option, promote, etc.). or slim it down for a specific reason I’m not catching?
One that comes to mind is director or vp comp at large brokerage shops for the capital markets teams. A lot of them list lower 6 figure comps. I know they’re commission based so maybe there’s specific reasons they exclude a potential high 6 or 7 figure income on something like glass door. But I’ve personally seen the commissions these guys get when we have to cut a check to them. Obviously, 6 figs is nothing to gawk at but I was expecting to see more.
No
No. Tend to be much lower in my experience.
