Is investing in Istanbul real Esate is good idea?
As we all know istanbul is the one of the most beautiful cities in the world and fav international destination for many to travel, or business or vacation. I am thinking to invest money in Istanbul Real Estate, so if anyone can give some insights views on this or have any experience of investing in this city. I would like to hear your views. thanks
Look into Turkey's political and economical challenges within the past 5 years.
You can read some current news about turkey on WSJ and NYT first
+1. Edrogan arresting people willy-nilly and Trump imposing strict sanctions... Edrogan having overt control of banks, widespread corruption, and the sudden, deep crisis now striking Turkey should give you pause. In your place I would not invest in any Mediterranean economies at the moment, no matter how beautiful the scenery and lifestyle may be, unless you got loads of money, you're not looking to make a profit and just like it there for a second home.
I agree
I think that Portugal is the exception. Maybe Croatia too....
Ergodan is destroying all what Ataturk accomplished a century ago...
that's seems like that, he is short of leader who just being blind by religion want to make mosques everywhere he can.
Agreed
Literally the headline in WSJ today
