Is it sketchy that Extell's Accounting department is based out of a Louisville Suburb?

Maybe a shit post and I've been watching too many Dirty Money episodes during quarantine but can someone explain why the hell Extell Financial Services would be in Kentucky? Isn't it kind of weird THE Gary Barnett of Extell Development chose a random strip center outside of Louisville to run his financial reporting and accounting out of? Is he just really cheap? Should I be shorting the Israeli Bonds on Central Park Tower? Does Julie Long, CPA know where the bodies are buried?

Makes sense to me probably cheap AF. They'd probably do it in the Philippines if they could.

Other big NY or CA players have a history of outsourcing stuff, such as their asset mgmt work, to cheap cities in the south. This is well known.

Honestly the only surprising thing is that the address is on the website, I guess they got tired of forwarding mail to KY. A lot of firms move 'back office' activities to lower cost markets (I did work for an NY based one that had a lot of people in some random city in Michigan, go figure). Even some 'front office' people will actually live/work in places like Florida/Texas but the website makes it look like they are in California/New York. It is way more common than you think, and will likely get more so given all that is going on.
