Interviewing with the Multifamily Mortgages group and was wondering how much the culture differs from the Investment group. Given that this group primarily focuses on CMHC lending and is still fairly new to the space, I wouldn’t imagine the hours to be quite as crazy. That said, from what I understand, WLB can be pretty rough at this shop.
I also understand that it’s five days in-office and business formal, although they somehow had Summer Fridays (not sure if that’s group-dependent?).
I’d also be curious to hear what growth and development look like. Based on what I’m seeing on LinkedIn, there seem to be a lot of tenured folks, but I’m not sure if it’s the comp that keeps people there or if there’s limited upward mobility within the company.
